Booking Policy

1. Contract Agreement

These terms form the basis of your contract with Vivid Travel (NZBN:9429052510922). By booking, you confirm acceptance of these conditions.

• Definitions:

  • "You"/"Customer": All persons named on the booking.

  • "We"/"Us": Vivid Travel Ltd.

  • "Tour": Arranged travel services to China.

2. Booking & Payments

• Lead Traveller: Must be 18+ and authorized to act on behalf of all passengers.

• Deposit: NZD $400 per person secures your booking.

• Balance: Due 60 days before departure. Late payments may result in cancellation (fees apply).

• Card Fees: depends on the bank you with, certain % of processing fee for credit payments may apply.

3. Pricing & Inclusions

• Prices are in NZD and include:

  • Accommodations, transports, meals listed in the itinerary, local insurance coverage and tickets to activities per itinerary.

• Exclusions: Flights (unless specified), travel insurance, meals not listed, personal expenses.

• Surcharges: Rare but may apply for currency fluctuations, fuel, or government taxes.

4. Changes by You

• Amendments: $50 fee per change + supplier costs.

• Transfers: Moving to another departure is considered a cancellation.

5. Cancellations

• By You:

  • 60 days: Loss of deposit.

  • 59–30 days: 50% of the total cost.

  • <30 days: 100% of total cost.

• By Us:

  • Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics): Credit or partial refund.

  • Low Numbers: Cancel with 60+ day's notice; full refund or alternative tour offered.

6. Travel Documents & Health

• Passports: Must be valid for 3+ months with 2 blank pages. Provide copies 60 days pre-departure.

• Health: Disclose medical conditions; we may exclude passengers risking group safety (no refunds).

• Insurance: Mandatory – must have travel insurance that covers medical and cancellation.

7. During Your Tour

• Itinerary Changes: Unavoidable adjustments (e.g., weather, closures) do not qualify for refunds.

• Behavior: We may remove disruptive passengers (no refunds; additional costs borne by you).

8. Liability

1. Third Parties: We act as an agent for hotels, etc. Not liable for their acts/omissions.

2. Local Laws: Services complying with Chinese regulations are deemed properly performed.

3. Consumer Guarantees: NZ law applies; other liabilities are limited to resupplying services or refunding costs.

9. Governing Law

New Zealand law governs these terms.
