Day 1 - 2 Arrive in Xi'an, China

Hello China! Embark on your journey from your country to the ancient capital of Xi'an. Sit back, relax, and prepare to step into 3,000 years of Chinese history. Touch down in Xi'an and meet your local guide before transferring to your hotel. After checking in, take a light stroll around the neighborhood to soak in the first glimpses of Chinese architecture, street life, and perhaps grab a local snack to start your culinary journey.

Day 3 Terracotta Warriors & Tang Dynasty Show

Begin your day exploring the UNESCO-listed Terracotta Army, standing face-to-face with thousands of life-sized soldiers buried over 2,000 years ago to guard China's first emperor. After lunch, discover ancient imperial technology at the Bronze Chariots and Horses Museum in Lishan Garden. As night falls, be transported by the dazzling open-air Song of Everlasting Sorrow show, a sweeping tale of love and loss performed beneath the stars at Huaqing Palace.

Day 4 Ancient Walls, Buddhist Relics & Tang Dynasty Nights

Xi'an Museum

Small Wild Goose Pagoda

Start the morning discovering centuries-old Buddhist artifacts at the Xi'an Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a tranquil temple dating back to the Tang Dynasty. After lunch, cycle along the top of Xi'an's mighty Ancient City Wall, one of the oldest and best-preserved in China. Day 5 High-Speed to Chengdu & Alley Explorations

High-speed train experience

Kuanzhai Alley

Hop aboard a high-speed train and glide through China's heartland toward Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province. In the afternoon, stretch your legs with free time at Kuanzhai Alley, a lively labyrinth of Qing Dynasty courtyards, teahouses, and artisan shops. Sip on a local herbal tea or try a spicy street snack as the sun sets.

Day 6 Pandas, Parks & Nightlife by the River

Start your morning watching adorable giant pandas munch bamboo at the world-famous Chengdu Research Base. After lunch, unwind like a local in People's Park, sipping jasmine tea and maybe trying a traditional ear-cleaning service. In the evening, head to Jiuyan Bridge, Chengdu's scenic nightlife hotspot, where riverside bars and glowing lanterns set the stage for a relaxed night out.

Day 7 Sacred Mountains & Ancient Engineering

Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Travel to the historic town of Dujiangyan and explore its ingenious 2,000-year-old irrigation system, still in use today. After a local lunch, ascend the lush slopes of Mount Qingcheng, birthplace of Taoism, where you'll join a tai chi session surrounded by misty forests and ancient temples. Return to Chengdu by evening, refreshed and reconnected.

Day 8 River Cruise to the Giant Buddha

Set out for Leshan and board a riverboat to marvel at the towering 71-meter-tall Leshan Giant Buddha, carved directly into a cliff face overlooking the confluence of three rivers. Feel the serenity of this sacred site from the water before heading back to Chengdu in time for a relaxing evening.

Day 9 Scenic Drive & Sunset Over Tibetan Villages

Jinsha Museum/Sanxingdui

Begin with a journey into Chengdu's ancient past at the Jinsha Site Museum, home to dazzling golden masks and relics of the mysterious Shu civilization. After lunch, explore Wuhou Shrine, dedicated to legendary strategist Zhuge Liang. End your day wandering Jinli Ancient Street, where red lanterns, folk crafts, and sizzling food stalls evoke the romance of old Sichuan.

Day 10 Farewell China

Xi'an
